About the Foundation
Over the years, the Lima Memorial Foundation has been the catalyst for bringing technological advancements, programs and services to the Lima region. Proceeds from Journey will benefit the transformation of Lima Memorial’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Center. The Foundation has committed to raising $1 million to support this project that will ultimately benefit those affected by a debilitating illness or injury, restoring their lives and building confidence. Through community support to the Foundation, Lima Memorial has been able to establish its now world-renowned surgical robotics program and introduce many advancements, including innovative lung cancer diagnostic technology, sophisticated infection control equipment and a state-of-the-art simulation and education laboratory. Additionally, an electrophysiology program is on the horizon and will bring intricate heart rhythm management procedures to our community, in collaboration with experts from The Ohio State Heart and Vascular Center.
